Meet Dr. Trent Conelias, OMS

Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Trent Conelias began his higher education at Temple University, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, earning his dental degree and preparing for advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Following dental school, Dr. Conelias completed a comprehensive four-year residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. This advanced surgical training prepared him to diagnose and treat conditions involving the teeth, jaws, mouth, and related facial structures and led to his certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Conelias is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Achieving board certification requires oral and maxillofacial surgeons to successfully complete a rigorous examination process designed to evaluate their knowledge and expertise within the specialty.

He is also certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia to administer intravenous (IV) anesthesia. In addition, Dr. Conelias maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR).

Dr. Conelias provides specialty surgical care for conditions affecting the mouth, teeth, jaws, and associated facial structures. His surgical background allows him to provide advanced treatment for patients whose needs extend beyond routine dental care.
